剧情简介: Black Sunday shows the events that happened on January 23rd 2005. Six FDNY fire-fighters were forced to jump out the window of a five story building, instantly killing three and leaving three more to live with both physical and emotional pain. PTSD is major player in this story where all of the victims that survived suffer from the disease, especially the main protagonist Lieutenant Joseph Dibernardo Jr. Suffering for six years after the event and dealing with all the pain and suffering Lieutenant Dibernardo accidentally overdosed on his pain medication and sadly passed away. The story continues with the father of Joseph Dibernardo, Chief Dibernardo who fights against the city of New York to have his son honored as a Line of duty death. An honor only bestowed upon those who have physically died in action. Chief Dibernardo is ultimately successful where his son is honored as a line of duty death and his plague is placed on the wall beside his fallen brothers.
