These include exploring the offshore, shadow banking world in which trillions of dollars are taken out of the real economy. The Payback Movement is an activist, anti-bank-fraud movement, inspired by Occupy, Anonymous and the Tax Justice Network. The trigger for the story is a man who can\'t face the ruination of his small business which he has built up over a life-time. There are stylish elements of Japanese food, fashion and karate. Following the current trend for female protagonists, Dr. Amy Kell is a gutsy, educated woman who flirts with challenging, authoritarian men and even has a \'fifty shades of grey\' moment.
