剧情简介: The role on the Peking Opera stage fall into four major roles- Sheng, Dan, Jing, Chou. Chou has the meaning \'ugly\'. This reflects the traditional belief that the clown\'s combination of ugliness and laughter could drive away evil spirits. So most people think of the Chou only as a clown, which causes many unfair problems for those hard-working actors who play this role.
