剧情简介: After the defeat of Japan in WWII, a Japanese infant was abandoned in China during the chaotic evacuation out of China. An impoverished Chinese family found the infant and raised him as their own through series of tragedy and hardships. In a parallel storyline, decades later, the grown up infant, now a renowned Buddhist master, visits Japan as a leading member of a Buddhism delegation, unknowingly meets and reacquaints with his birth mother.
