剧情简介: After a happy childhood in South Africa, where for ten years his father worked as a missionary, the director moved to the Netherlands at age 8. From then on he encountered misunderstanding and prejudices about his background. Now he returns as an adult to investigate the South Africa of his youth more critically. Not in search for answers, but to find out what his childhood friendship to a country really means. Themes like longing for an ideal youth, and the search for meaning in life are visually translated in this nostalgic ego-documentary.
